Salih Mahmood is an economist and engineer with extensive experience in innovation ecosystems, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic development. He is the former manager of Mosul Space, one of Iraq’s leading makerspaces and innovation hubs, where he supported youth, startups, and technical communities through hands-on learning and emerging technologies.
He has worked with international organizations and development partners on programs related to green skills, vocational training, innovation, and inclusive economic recovery. His work focuses on building collaborative ecosystems that connect education, entrepreneurship, technology, and local market needs to create sustainable opportunities for communities and young professionals.
