About
Roberto is an advocate for integrity and social change, shaped by years in public service and global civil society. He began his career in Mexico’s government, advising across ministries and working closely with senior leaders.
After studies in Political Science and Development in Barcelona and London, he joined Transparency International, helping reimagine how people connect to the fight against corruption. He later became Director of the International Anti-Corruption Conference, building it into the leading global space for collaboration across sectors.
He is also the founder and co-founder of several global initiatives, including the IACC Young Journalists network, the Films for Transparency Festival, the IACC Social Entrepreneurs Initiative, and the Fair Play Music Competition and Festival.
At his core, Roberto builds bridges—between people, ideas, and movements—and believes the energy of younger generations is key to tackling the world’s toughest challenges.
