About
Manoela Vianna is the Coordinator of the Technopolitics Program at the Heinrich Böll Foundation’s Rio de Janeiro office, where she also leads communication efforts. She is a journalist with a Master’s degree in Social Policy from the London School of Economics. Her work supports Brazilian civil society organizations advocating for technologies to be developed and governed from a human rights perspective, with a focus on the intersections between digital rights and socio-environmental justice. The program also addresses gender as a cross-cutting issue and engages with debates on information integrity and the regulation of platforms and AI in Brazil. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Communication Technologies and Aesthetics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
