About
Cornelia is an International Digital Policy Fellow at the German Ministry of Digitisation. Previously, Cornelia worked as European Government Affairs Coordinator at Microsoft focusing on cyber and AI. She spearheads initiatives in Brussels that bring together young professionals on important topics related to Europe's digital future, including her work as part of Women in Safety and Ethics (WISE), which creates a community for young women in digital affairs. Cornelia has a background in AI governance and Responsible AI: she previously worked on related policy and research at the United Nations Office of Information and Communications Technology, the Center for AI and Digital Policy and the Oxford Internet Institute. In 2024, she published a paper on the discourse on ethical AI in the context of the EU AI Act, comparing the approaches of Big Tech companies and the European Commission that was published and presented at ACM Facct'24 in Rio de Janeiro. Cornelia holds an Msc in European and International Public Policy from the London School of Economics and a BA in European Social and Political Studies jointly awarded by Sciences Po Paris and University College London (UCL).
