About

Sascha Funk is a Professor and the Head of Media Studies at Thammasat University in Bangkok. After trading his management roles in European digital agencies for the lecture halls of Southeast Asia, he now focuses on the intersection of media, society, and technology. He also advises startups and tries to wake up the West to the potential of Southeast Asia. As long as he doesn’t look at his salary cheque compared to his old agency days, he doesn't regret the move at all.
