Description

Europe's innovation stagnation and shrinking labor market are not just policy failures, but a failure of imagination. The talent and drive needed to turn this around are already here. We just haven't built the structures to see it. That's why we built NewcomerTech: SINGA Deutschland's incubator for tech solutions developed by and for migrants. The first cohort ends May 11,  and we're bringing the insights to re:publica. In this session, we introduce the Migrant Founder Mindset: not a survival story, but a strategic asset. We examine how diverse backgrounds and lived experience with systemic barriers translate into market insight and radical innovation capacity: precisely what Europe's economy needs. SINGA leaders and a newcomer innovator from the program join to discuss what it takes to move from "helping" newcomers to building with them, and why the distinction matters for Europe's economic future.
