Embodied Art – How the Body Helps Us Make Meaning (In A World Designed To Distract)
Description
This session invites participants into a hands-on embodied art experience that explores how meaning is created through the body. In times of constant cognitive stimulation, many people are highly informed, yet increasingly disconnected from their own body. We have access to answers everywhere — but orientation often gets lost.
Embodiment offers a way back to presence. The arts invite us into feeling. Together, they open a gateway to agency and inner orientation.
The session combines gentle guided movement, the arts, short moments of stillness, and reflective prompts. Participants are invited to shift attention from analysis to sensing, allowing the body to become a site of insight and dialogue. Rather than adding more input, the session creates a cognitive pause — using the body itself as the primary source of information.
The format offers an experiential space where participants can sense and notice what emerges through awareness, movement, and perception.
In the spirit of the festival, embodiment is framed as a practice of staying present and connected with oneself and others. This session is open to anyone, all you need to bring is your curiosity and openness.
